“Reach For The Stars” Friendship Force 28th International Conference
Los Angeles, California November 4th to 7th , 2004

President Joe and wife Val attended the conference and were delighted to meet many new friends from around the world.  Pictured above with Val are Sakai and Noriko from Sapporo.  Also a photo of Kazutoshi from Yamaguchi, Japan seated with Joe and Val.  It was wonderful to meet Kazutoshi as he had been unable to attend the June 2004 Yamaguchi-Winnipeg exchange.

During the post-conference home stay Val and Joe were hosted for a fabulous week in Los Angeles by Sharon and Larry.  Friends from around the world started off the Los Angeles home stay with a welcome party at Ed and Carolee’s Woodland Hills home.  Pictured in Ed’s beautiful rose garden are Friendship Force ambassadors from Canada, Russia, Japan and Slovakia.
